| 8. The Yogin
whose self is satisfied with knowledge and wisdom, who remains unshaken,
who has conquered the senses, he is said to be a saint,for whom a lamp of
earth, a stone and gold are equal.When the Yogin is satisfied with knowledge
(jnana) of things as taught in the scriptures, and with wisdom (vijnana),
i.e with the realization (in his own experience) of the things so taughtthen
he is said to be a saint (yukta), he is said to have attained samadhi or
steadfastness of mind. |
